Ephesians 3:14-19- Amplified Bible (AMP) - For this reason seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name]. May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, that you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, [b]through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses [c]mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] [d]unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and [e]become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
One morning during a time of prayer and rest, the tenderness of God poured forth in the sweetness of His words - a healing balm to the tender places in my heart; His words of kindness and love, bringing forth new life.
I felt a question arise from the Lord in this time set apart in prayer, “What is it that holds you back?” A good question to ponder I think, as we look for and desire to live a life without limits, a life of freedom and joy in Him. I wasn’t sure I knew the answer, but He did.
His gentle response to me -
“Where you are in judgment against yourself, there you are limited by those very judgments and you cannot move beyond. In seeing and in confessing, you can be healed. Not that I have not already forgiven you, this is so that you can forgive yourself.”
I felt His words of comfort that all that was coming to the surface, things that I was aware of – thoughts, judgments, wrong beliefs – was indeed His great love for me. All of this was part of His perfect plan, so that I could be healed of the very things that held me back.
I heard His encouragement to place it all in His hands – that which I understood and that which I did not. Then to allow the Holy Spirit to lead me and to guide me into all truth, for He is Truth. Trust.
As I was able to listen, abide, lean on Him and learn, He assured me I could find the help and the wholeness that I needed.
In kindness He reminded me to ask the Holy Spirit, our Comforter and Friend, to help me each day, to remember, and to walk in all of His ways.
I felt His encouragement to cease from rejecting myself, my past, my mistakes, the limitations I felt I had, for God is LOVE, and we were created in love. Living in Him is living in love. Living in the love of God, loving all that He loves, includes us.
He spoke these words of life that day,
“The earth belongs to Me and the fullness thereof, therefore all I have created, is love. They call it the universal language yet it is really the language of the universe. Allow this love to fill your heart and mind, even the parts that you feel are unworthy and unlovable. They are not unlovable to Me, and it is My love that will transform them to be as they were created to be.
The more you surrender to love, My love, the more lovely and the more loveable you become. Come now and test Me on this. Bring to Me all the things – past, present and your own projected future that you feel are not worthy of love. Bring them to Me and into My love and I, LOVE, will make you whole.
Love heals. True love, My love, heals all. As you are loved with true love, you can love with true love. My love. To the degree you were not loved, is the degree that you are not able to love.
True love, My love, heals all.
Allow true love, to heal, restore, repair, replace, and deliver. My love reveals where there is no love. My love shows where love is and where love is not. My love comforts and convicts. My love is always available. It renews what has withered from lack of love. Stretch forth your withered heart, your lack of love, your lack of being loved, and I Who Am LOVE, will heal it all.
Love is tender. Love transforms. Love is tangible. Come up higher and experience My love. Real love. True love. Enduring love. In heaven, love is tangible. You can see it everywhere. You look, and you see love.
Your can hear it – every sound, every word is love. You can sense it – touch it, taste it, walk in it, breathe it in. There is nothing else - only love because I AM love.
That is what the world is looking for, this tangible, tactile love. They look for it everywhere. But is it love that is born from above that brings life. This is the love they long for, the love that heals. True Love, Real Love, is heaven’s currency.
This is truly heaven touching earth. This is how heaven invades earth– when love comes down.
As my people live in, move in, are transformed by My love, the world’s eyes will be opened, for no one can be touched by love and be unchanged. To the degree one moves away from love, is the degree they are vulnerable. Darkness is not only absence of light, it is absence of love. Where there is love, there is light.
True love, all love is to be a reflection of My love. Love heals. Where love is, healing is. Healed by My love.”
In this month of February, a month where love is celebrated in some cultures, with a mixture of customs, we are praying for God’s love, the currency of heaven, to visit you. Not just this month, but always.
We are praying for the tangible substance of His love to invade your life, bringing a revelation of how very precious you are to Him and how great His love is for you. Wide and high and deep.
God is love. His loves heals and sets us free. His love is the answer to every question, the solution to every problem, the substance of every need!
And He loves you! It doesn’t get much better than that!
Ephesians 3:20, 21: Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
